SAP project - UX/UI Design
Context
The NSW DOE needed user focused SAP dashboard redesign that would be more personalised for external candidates (teachers, Principles, recruiters) internal employees (recruiters, finance, onboarding and much more departments).
Problem
- The SAP environment is out of the box and there required dashboards for each user types did not meet their needs.
- A lot of manual estimations with no automation for quick scans on yearly budgets, recruitment numbers and teacher profiles.
- No quick way to sort through specific needs of the users from each internal departments as well as for external recruiters.
- Teachers profiles were outdated and the need for a user friendly profile dashboard to update with ease while automating across to internal department systems was missing.
Objectives
- Run Card sorting and Information Architecture workshops to identify each category and subcategory needed in the dashboards for each user types.
- Research and design wireframes that meet the requirements and needs of each user types.
- Run Journey workshops and Co Design workshops to understand more on each users needs and define a clear filtering structure that can work across all users (Teachers, Directors, Principles, Recruiters & Internal staff/recruiters)
Outcome
- We successfully launched designed all 3 main category wireframes to our 3 key personas with various design workshops and user testing.
- 12 user testing sessions broken into 3 user groups for each category.
- Wireframes were well understood for DEVs to start estimating effort and build.
